It's started

I know I'm a little late in the game as far as this book is concerned, but I still have to admit I am a little hooked. Not to mention I had dreams/nightmares about vampires last night. :) I had to laugh out loud when I woke up...I'm married to an Edward...I feel like Bella. :) Like some other people had mentioned...I am not usually a reader. Thanks for the quote on your blog Mindi. It gave me a jump start on reading. I hope it keeps up. :) Thanks Cami for giving me the series for Christmas!
P.S. There are about 5 new posts pretty far below this one that I started awhile back and finally finished if you are interested.:) My pics have a hard time uploading to blogger. That's why I post about 5 things at a time. The pictures work somedays and not others.

Just arrived!

Happy Valentines to my sweethearts!!

Ed is always so great at surprises and definitely deserves praise for being such a wonderful, thoughtful husband. Ed got home at 7am today after working 24+ hours and still managed to surprise me. He's upstairs asleep now. Truly my sweetheart!! Love you babe!

Mostly Mastered!!

Sarah is sitting up for the most part. She leans forward a lot to support herself, but her balance is great! Cute little chin & round face! :) These pics are taken while she watches Baby Einstein as you can see she is very intent on what she's watching.

Big Blue Eyed Bath Beauty!

Some cute after bath pics we wanted to share of our Sar!!

Sarah pics & a hickey

Sarah has these cute little booty slippers for her feet that have rattles on them. She's totally become fond of her feet and these totally keep her entertained. It's really cute to watch her play.

Just a pic of me and my babe.

Sarah was so hungry she started sucking on my chin. Ed thought it was funny and wanted to video it so I let her keep sucking. Whoops!! It didn't take long for a purple hickey to show up on my chin. Now that's some suction!! Pretty sure that was my first hickey ever! Probably won't let that happen again. :)It doesn't show up as well in the picture and its also hard to notice since the rest of my skin was still in pretty bad shape.

Skin dramarama update

Just thought I'd give a quick update about my horrid skin. I went into the dermatologist last Thursday and got a Prednizone (sp?) shot. Along with the shot I was prescribed a bunch of drugs to take. I was really emotional at my appointment after not sleeping for 3+ nights and it didn't help that when I asked the dermatologist if the drugs she prescribed were okay to take while breast feeding, her answer, "It should be okay", was not very comforting. "Should be okay"!!! What does that mean? I'm going to need a little bit more than a "should be okay" when it comes to my baby's health! Whatever! Ed and I will not be seeing that dermatologist again. I left my appointment so confused and uninformed. Sometimes that's the hard part about drugs. There are a bunch of things that COULD happen. I at least want to know about what COULD happen. We took the precautions we thought necessary and gave Sarah formula (for the first time) for a couple of days. I was a little worried she might reject it, but to my comfort she took it like a champ. Thanks to Kaylynn I took Ambian for about 3 nights after to make sure I got some sleep. My skin has slowly recovered after practically completely peeling off. I'm like a snake. :) SSSSSSSS (as Leah would say) Now I'm sleeping again (besides when Sarah wakes in the night) and my skin is still dry, but feels much softer and better...for now at least! Cross your fingers please!

A living hell

My skin is a living hell. I know everyone has to deal with their personal problems, but in so doing we're all entitled to complain a little bit right? I don't know what is going on, but my skin over the past couple months especially has been really hard to live in. Winter? I have always had eczema, but I don't ever remember it being this bad. The last 3 nights I'm not sure if I've even slept. No rest makes for one grumpy girl. I took for granted the days that I could fall asleep the minute I laid down. Now I feel like I have insomnia. There are a number of things that make exzema flare up and all of them are things I dabble in- I have to LIVE! Let me list a few: amimal dander(pets), sweat (working out), hot water (baths, hot tubs), sun (summer), anything with fragrance (detergent, perfume), make-up, tight clothing, weather (season change), etc. I have gone to extremes to try and get it under control and I feel like the more things I try the worse it gets. Let me list a few things I've tried: Pretty much any lotion, cream, corticosteroids, ointment, (Marens suggestion) sleeping with socks on my hands, taking Benadryl, sleeping pills, using a humidifier, allergen barrier for my mattress, Ed got me an oatmeal bath last night...NOTHING WORKS!! I'm losing my sanity. I'll try anything! Please help! I won't even post a picture...it's not a pretty picture.
