Something went right, and an old story.

I must have done something right today. Timing must have been on or something. Sarah slept almost 13 hours last night and then took 3 naps totaling 4 1/2 hours. She just went down at 6:15pm. Lots of smiles, hardly any crying...It was a GOOD day!

Also, this happened about one month ago at Sarah's 2 month check up. After Sarah's appointment when I went to get in the car, I totally closed the door on my face before I had a chance to get in!!! :) Has anyone else ever done that? I do it WAY too often. :) I grabbed/covered my eye in pain as I finished getting in the car. Ed asked to look at my eye since he saw me hit it. When I took my hand down I noticed blood. Ed thought I might need stitches. I've never had stitches!! So we went back in the Medical Center (luckily they see adults there as well) and had a doctor look at it. They put some Dermabond (like super glue) on it and sent me off. People looked at me as if Ed had beat me up or something. :) Anyway, funny story. I'd love to hear some of your similar stories to make me feel a little less clumsy.

You have such a great baby! and you must be great parents!

I have done the car thing before but I never got more than a bruise. It always hurts and I am scared I am going to knock myself out one time. You shut yourself in the door really well!
I'm glad you shared your experience, I thought I was just a spaz. Now I know its normal :)

ouch! I usually misjudge when my head is outside of the car and bang it on the roof.
I just got tagged by someone else, so I'll do yours a little later.

Yeah...I've done that too. I thought I was the only one but glad to see that I'm not. I've never cut myself doing it though so OUCH!
Your baby is the cutest baby! I'm so happy for you that she's such a good sleeper!!!

Isi'nt it funny how we can become so distracted between carrying a car seat, diaper bag, purse and what not. I can't tell you how many times I used to put Caden in the car then it being winter I would hurry to get into the drivers side and leave the diaper bag right on the road! Yea im on my 3rd diaper bag!!!

I don't necessarily shut the door on my head, but I do miscalculate how low I need to duck to get in the car (especially my parents' Durango since you have to step UP before stooping down), and I often smack the side of my head getting in. Oh, and I run into walls WAY too much while going around corners. I think I just don't pay attention enough...
