June 5th- See Jane Run 1/2

I ran a 1/2 marathon with a bunch of friends in June. Ed was a good man and stayed home with the kids. ;)

^I love getting home to the kids playing in the pool in the yard and Ed working in the garage. Summer fun!

Memories for Memorial!

On Memorial Day we always do something fun with the family. This year we went to Rancho San Antonio for a hike. Usually the petting zoo is fun for the kids but it was closed so we just had our picnic with the Laytons and hung out for a while.

^ Sarah ran around and danced on a little stage they have in the picnic area.
^Kai crawled around and discovered things and played with straw, etc.
^View from the back
^Cool view from inside
^The crowd

^ I love being out in nature with my family. Aren't they cute? ;)

May 29th- Tim Mcgraw Concert

Compliments of Duke and Morghan- Ed and I joined them for the Tim Mcgraw concert at Shoreline. It originally was going to be just Morghan and I but the guys were troopers when we found out we had 4 tickets. ;)
^Hick boots. Fitting for country get up.
^Morghan and Duke
^Morghan and I went to the pool, got mani/pedi's and yogurt, and then went to dinner and the concert with the guys! Always great girl time!
^ Tim's concert was the most crowded concert I've ever been to at Shoreline. It was packed!
^One last shot of us all. Tim did not disappoint! I think the guys even had fun even though they couldn't sing along as much.

6 years brought us to Monterey!

For our 6th anniversary we headed to Monterey. The Nixon's so kindly joined us for the festivities. :) And it couldn't have been possible without Kristen and David for taking our kids for a couple nights. :) God sends! Special thanks to them!
^Top down the whole way did not disappoint! The weather was great!
^The first evening we got in town just in time for dinner at Fandango's. Food was average. Dessert was delicious!
^After dinner we took it easy and watched our wedding video.
^6 years! Ocean View and listening to the waves was a nice treat too.
^ The next morning Rebecca and I went for a run along the coast and then did some shopping...
... while the boys went to the Leguna Seca race.
^Cars bring Ed a lot of joy. :)
For Saturday evening we went here:
^I had some fruity drinks,
^ And just a small preview of the food. Pretty good!
^It's fun to get spruced up as a couple once in a while.
^The guys are always good company.
^And Paul and Rebecca are great traveling buddies. :)
^We love this breakfast place.
^Probably my favorite pancakes.
^Mmm mmm good hot chocolate for a chilly morning.
^At the end of a successful, relaxing anniversary trip!
^The spa overlooking the ocean
^was a nice finishing touch!
^ We'll be back Monterey! And here's to many more anniversary's! Love you Ed!

Bill & Nikki visit 5/13/10

So I'm 2 months behind... big deal! ;) Bill came to SF for a conference, so Nikki joined him and we met up and went to dinner and toured some of the sights! We found a new area we hadn't been to view the bridge yet.

We love having visitors! Come again! It forces us into the city. We don't get there often enough.

Walks

This is one of the regular places we visit. We go on walks to the school just a couple blocks away. The kids love it and I love them!

Something new

Since April Sarah started falling asleep all over the place. This does not happen often.

She stopped taking naps around 2 1/2, but now she'll fall asleep about 2 times a week during quiet time in the middle of play.

Mother's Day 2010

^After church on Mother's day I had to get a picture with the sweet babes that gave me the title of mommy.
^After Ed and Ryan cooked a fabulous meal for Maren and I, Ed gave us the go ahead to eat.
^ They made caesar salad, fruit salad, mashed potatoes, steak sauce, homemade croutons and salmon and steak.
^ They make a mean meal. Look at them!
^ Maren and I thoroughly enjoyed doing nothing and enjoying strawberry shortcake for dessert! Well done to the partners in making us mommies!

^My Mother's Day gift from Ed and the kids. :) Exactly what I wanted. What a good motherly gift. Thanks!
