September CATCH UP!

September started out with Sarah sleeping in her big girl bed for the first time. She did great the first night, stayed in bed, no crying, if only it lasted...

DEF LEPPARD

^ We wore some hard core rocker shirts to a rocker concert.

^The concert was awesome! I really loved it! Ed has always been a fan. I became a fan when I was little from my big brother Landon. :)

LABOR DAY

Kai's first blow out... all over daddy! :) Kai went from pooping every day to about every 3-4 days. So when he does he makes up for it.

KAI IS 2 MONTHS!

^Kai only got 1 immunization out of the 6 recommended (we break them up) and still had a rough night! Happy to see him asleep comfortably.

Kai is generally eating every 3 hours during the day and every 5 at night. I wake to feed at 10pm, he wakes at 3am... he goes right back to sleep like a good boy. Starting at 2 months I stopped waking him to feed before I sleep and he started going over 5 hours between feeds. After a couple nights after shots- Kai moved to the crib in the nursery!

TAHOE/RENO

^Ed went to Tahoe to speak at a conference, so the kids and I came along, spent the night and then drove an hour to spend a night with Duke & Morghan who now live in Reno.

WHITNEY'S 30!!

For Whitney's 30th birthday we went to the city, did some shopping, got dinner and dessert and stayed in a hotel to shop some more in the morning. Ed had the kids at home. ;) We had a great time and bought matching bracelets for memories. :)

^The night after Whitney's bday Ed picked me up and we met the Cheney's at the Giants game.

^The had we bought Sarah last year finally fits! Morghan got us the beads. :)

AUGUST CATCH UP! Trip to UT 8/6-13

We had a rough start to our trip when our flight got cancelled and we luckily found a flight out in the evening. We spent the whole first day in the airport. Not fun with 2 kids! The next day (pics to come) Ed and Sarah headed up to Idaho for the Harman family trip while Kai and I stayed back to take it easy since he had just been in the hospital. Most of UT was just chillin' at my mom's.

Party #1. Sarah's B-Day Party in UT 8/12

We had a early birthday party for Sarah with our families in UT. We hate for her to miss out on spending time with grandparents and cousins just because we live in CA.

^During the wedding Sarah was supposed to be a flower girl, but this is what ended up happening. She usually loves to be in the spotlight?

^Ed was behind the camera most of the time. He always gets some precious shots. Randy brought back these china flower girl dresses. So cute!

^Fun to come together as a family to have a ceremony for the last of the Harman kids. Randy & Moody will officially be married in China sometime soon. I did Moody's hair for the ceremony with the help of my sister Cami.

^Everything turned out great!

^ Especially to see this happy guy! Love to see a smile on Randy's face. :) Congrats Randy & Moody!

Randy and Moody visit SF 8/13-18

Before Randy and Moody went back to China they came to visit SF. Thursday we took it easy, Friday they went into the city.

^Saturday we went to the beach in Santa Cruz. Sarah loved playing with them. The weather was good, but it was kind of stinky from all the fires.

^We got to relax a little.

^First time at the beach, Kai stayed bundled and asleep.

^Sunday we went to walk around Stanford. Moody is a master at sunflower seeds.

^Sarah loved Moody and took a liking to seeds too. :)

^Monday we went to Monterrey Bay Aquarium. Sarah had some tantrums, but enjoyed the fish okay.
